The setting is rather difficult to access, so making the change manually is less than ideal. Once you have installed the application, you can select the preferred color mode from a simple menu, as well as specify when each of them should be enabled automatically. Then, you can just click Apply and close the window. A task is created in the task scheduler, which will launch the application with the required arguments at the right time.
