There might be a recovery method that your PC manufacturer has built in. When you boot your computer, look for 'Recovery' or 'Options' something a long those lines and see if it lets you recover. With my laptop, I have 3 options to choose. Reset to factory settings - wipe everything 2. Repair - Try to reinstall it, don't wipe data 3.
I can't remember, but I know there is three options :P. In addition to Jack's comment. If I am not mistaken these options are usually accessible either though F8 or F10 menus.

Kelly, Check out the link below. The Recovery process can be started by pressing a particular Key or Keys combination at Boot. And if you do have a Manufacturer's Recovery Partition on your Hard Drive, you should be able to make your own Recovery Disks from it to reinstall the Operating System, if it isecoved to factory settings by the method above.
If you can not find any reference to it, contact the Manufacturer for advice on how to make those Recovery Disks. And you need to know the "bit" version for Vista, as 32bit and 64bit Editions come on different DVDs.
And once the Operating System is installed, go to your Computer Manufacturer's website and obtain the latest Drivers for your particular Model Computer or Laptop. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another. Any content of an adult theme or inappropriate to a community web site. Any image, link, or discussion of nudity. Any behavior that is insulting, rude, vulgar, desecrating, or showing disrespect.
Any behavior that appears to violate End user license agreements, including providing product keys or links to pirated software. Unsolicited bulk mail or bulk advertising.
